With the STANDYs, you can bring more variety into your sitting workday and work while standing. Providing health-promoting infrastructure is a major concern of the health management of the University of Jena. With the standing desk attachments, we want to enable you to bring dynamism and movement into your workday, spend less time sitting at a stretch, relieve your back and promote concentration.

The STANDYs originated at the University of Wuppertal. There, a design student developed a desk attachment that should allow users to spend less time studying and working while sitting. The university sports program and health management of the University of Jena were quickly convinced by the standing desk attachments that promise variety for the backs of our students and employees, according to the motto “foldable, simple, practical!” The attachments are not only suitable for different body sizes but also recyclable and compostable, made without glue and from sustainable cardboard.
